Volleyball Recap: De Beque Dragons vs. Rangely Panthers
De Beque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Rangely Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 24-26, 25-21.
Avery Rigsby paced De Beque's offense, picking up 18 kills. Rigsby got some help from Tylee Graham and her ten assists. Finally, Rigsby was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.
Rangely was led to victory by Rylee Kenney and Taylor Fouch. Kenney had 18 assists and five digs, while Fouch had 18 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Fouch has posted over her last five matchups.
De Beque's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Rangely, their record is now 11-12.
As of now, neither De Beque nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
