St. Mary's Ryken had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bishop McNamara Mustangs a 5-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Chase Harkness's shutout, as he gave up just six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Austin Michael was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lucas Sigafoose, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

St. Mary's Ryken's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Bishop McNamara, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.
