Soccer Recap: Azle Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Azle was not quite Graham's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 4-2 to the Graham Steers. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Steers are ranked 167th).

Azle's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Graham, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Azle will face off against Chisholm Trail at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Graham, they will challenge Lake Worth at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
