Baseball Recap: Evergreen Lutheran Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Evergreen Lutheran was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 19-1 to the Crosspoint Christian Wildcats. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Evergreen Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Crosspoint Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Evergreen Lutheran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-6 victory against Pope John Paul II on the 6th. Crosspoint Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
