After a string of five wins, Innovation's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 7-3 to the Dr. Phillips Panthers.

Luis Rodriguez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Gabriel Diaz also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Dr. Phillips, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Innovation will venture away from home to take on Cypress Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Innovation is facing Cypress Creek at the right time seeing as Cypress Creek is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Dr. Phillips, they are taking a road trip to face off against Apopka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
