Game recap: East Paulding High School Football Team tops Clarke Central

DALLAS, Ga. - East Paulding (Dallas, Ga.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 15 points, drop to eight before the final whistle blew on a 31-23 victory over Clarke Central (Athens, Ga.).

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Mitchell Webb to Kyler Neal in the first quarter, the Raiders led 21-13 at the half.

East Paulding expanded its lead to 12 points entering the fourth quarter. EP's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Neal.

With the win the Dallas school extended its winning streak to 11 games. The Raiders defeated the Buccaneers 25-7 last week.



Neal played well for East Paulding in the victory. He ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown. He has now scored 25 touchdowns on the season.

The defeat comes as a step back for Clarke Central, which notched a 28-20 victory over Cedar Shoals in its previous outing. The loss snapped the Gladiators' 2-game winning streak.
