Softball Recap: Unioto Comes Up Short

Unioto managed to slip by Chillicothe the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Shermans came up short against the Cavaliers on Thursday, falling 11-1. The Shermans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Unioto saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Paugh, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Unioto's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Chillicothe, their record now sits at 16-6.

Looking ahead, Unioto will venture away from home to challenge Zane Trace at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Chillicothe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
