Basketball Game Preview: Havana Ducks vs. Farmington Farmers

Havana is 1-9 against Farmington since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Havana Ducks will head out to square off against the Farmington Farmers at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Havana is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Friday. They were dealt a 67-23 defeat at the hands of Athens. The Ducks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.

Meanwhile, Farmington lost to Peoria Christian on the road by a 54-37 margin last Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Farmers in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.

Havana's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Farmington, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Havana took their victory against Farmington when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 65-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Havana since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
