Soccer Recap: Silver Bluff Comes Up Short

If Silver Bluff was feeling good fresh off their 7-2 takedown of American Leadership Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Augusta E Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Silver Bluff's goal came courtesy of Maycol Hernandez, who's now up to two this season.

Silver Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Augusta E, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Silver Bluff will take on Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta E, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Trinity Christian on the 14th.
