Softball Game Preview: White Pigeon Chiefs vs. Marcellus Wildcats

White Pigeon is 0-6 against Marcellus since June of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Chiefs will face off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. White Pigeon has given up an average of 19.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

White Pigeon is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Climax-Scotts, falling 26-13.

Meanwhile, Marcellus came up short against Bangor on Saturday and fell 8-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marcellus saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makynna Harrison, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Hannah Sharp, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Marcellus' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for White Pigeon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
