Baseball Recap: Elida Takes a Loss

Elida lost against Gateway Christian on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 13-6 to the Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coda Cathey was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Elida's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Gateway Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Elida nor Gateway Christian have any future games scheduled.
