Basketball Game Preview: Mount View Mustangs vs. Erskine Academy Eagles

The Mount View Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Erskine Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount View will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Mount View strolled past Maine Central Institute with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. That looming 53-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Meanwhile, Erskine Academy posted their closest victory since January 2nd on Thursday. They skirted past Morse 40-37.

Erskine Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Mount View, they are also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Mount View was able to grind out a solid victory over Erskine Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 44-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount View since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
