Louis E. Dieruff hasn't had much luck against Salisbury Township recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Louis E. Dieruff Huskies will look to defend their home field against the Salisbury Township Falcons at 12:00 p.m.

Louis E. Dieruff is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Northampton, falling 15-1.

Louis E. Dieruff saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Frawvely Peralta, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Salisbury Township took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They never let Pen Argyl get on the board and left with a 7-0 win.

Austin Spisszak made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Gonzalez, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Michael Stauffer, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
