Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. Azle

The Polytechnic Parrots will face off against the Azle Hornets at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Polytechnic is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Benbrook on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Azle had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor Eastern Hills could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for Azle as the team haven't won a game since January 10th.

Azle's draw makes their record 4-6-2 this season. As for Polytechnic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1.
