Flag Football Game Preview: Hughson Huskies vs. Orestimba Warriors + How To Watch

The Hughson Huskies will venture away from home to challenge the Orestimba Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hughson's defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so Orestimba's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hughson's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They strolled past Escalon with points to spare, taking the game 14-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

The critical scores for Hughson came from Ashlynn Merritt and Kindal Barstow.

Hughson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Leah Hobby and Barstow.

Hilmar typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Orestimba proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Yellowjackets with a 24-18 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Orestimba's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Hughson, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Hughson skirted past Orestimba 21-18 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
