Last Tuesday, Corpus Christi United came up short against Annapolis Christian Academy and fell 63-50.
Corpus Christi United's loss came about despite a quality game from Judah Jones, who scored 16 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Will Jonker, who scored nine points along with six blocks and four steals.
Meanwhile, Gloria Deo Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in January after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to First Baptist Academy.
Corpus Christi United's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Gloria Deo Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
