Basketball Recap: Avalon Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Avalon can now relate to. They came up short against the May Tigers on Friday, falling 59-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 13, 2024.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for May, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 31-3.

Avalon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for May, they will face off against Perrin-Whitt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Perrin-Whitt will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something May surely won't give up without a fight.
