Soccer Recap: Manatee's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Manatee's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Mario Arroyo-Alonso and Lucas Felix scored all three of Manatee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Manatee and bumps their season record up to 10-5-1. As for Out-of-Door Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3-2.

When Manatee and Out-of-Door Academy next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Manatee will try to stop Parrish Community's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. Manatee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. Similarly, Out-of-Door Academy will take on Bradenton Christian and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th.
