Softball Recap: Brushton-Moira Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Brushton-Moira and Madrid-Waddington squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Brushton-Moira had to settle for second. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 14-3. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost four in a row.

Addisyn Mitchell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Brushton-Moira's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Madrid-Waddington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Brushton-Moira does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madrid-Waddington, they will take on Lisbon Central at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
