            Baseball Recap: Florence Huskies vs. Colorado Springs Christian Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Florence had lost three straight at home, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 6-8 to make it four. They lost  19-5 to the Colorado Springs Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  20-4  on Thursday.
  Izayah Fisk and  Shane Harvey did some serious damage despite the final result:  Fisk  got on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  Harvey  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Colorado Springs Christian,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-10. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 15 runs.
 On Colorado Springs Christian's side,  Luc Baskin was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Baskin has become a key player for the Lions: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  stolen bases, but 2-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Ben Garl, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Florence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  10-5  victory against Cripple Creek-Victor on the 26th. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they have also already played their next game,  a  7-2  win against Rocky Ford on the 29th.
