Baseball Recap: Leonardtown Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Urbana, Leonardtown was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Mary's Ryken Knights, sneaking past 6-5.

Leonardtown's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Mary's Ryken, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
