Fargo South was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Valley City on Friday. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Hi-Liners. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Evan Felber made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Henry Schrum, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Brander Hilmert was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
