Basketball Recap: Stanley Takes a Loss

Stanley lost against Turtle Mountain back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stanley Blue Jays took a blow against the Turtle Mountain Braves, falling 75-45.

Stanley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Turtle Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Des Lacs-Burlington the next time they take the court. Stanley will head out to face Des Lacs-Burlington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Turtle Mountain will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
