Bloomingdale and Plant are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bloomingdale Bulls will host the Plant Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Bloomingdale's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on East Bay with a sharp 7-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulls.

Bloomingdale got a great performance from Javier Navas-Hoyer as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. The dominant performance gave Navas-Hoyer a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, Alvin Cruz was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Plant put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Leto as Plant made off with a 13-0 victory. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
NICK TOWNLEY tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on DANNY CERELLI, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was JORDON OLIVIA, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.
Plant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Bloomingdale now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Plant, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bloomingdale has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Plant struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
