Soccer Game Preview: Eastern Guilford vs. Atkins

Eastern Guilford is 0-5 against Atkins since March of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Camels at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eastern Guilford comes in on six and Atkins on ten.

Eastern Guilford's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Southeast Guilford. Give Eastern Guilford's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Atkins' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Eastern Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
