Basketball Recap: Camden Skates Past Lancaster with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Camden over Lancaster in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Camden Bulldogs blew the Lancaster Bruins out of the water with an 85-47 final score. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 34 points or more this season.

Camden got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shanaryah Wright out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 19 boards. Wright also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Camden is undefeated when she posts at least three steals, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Braylin Mungo, who went 8 for 19 to rack up 20 points along with five assists and three steals.

Camden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Lancaster's loss came despite strong showings from Kemarja Peay and Zatyra Walls. Peay dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Walls posted eight points and seven boards. Eliza Baskins was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Camden's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points over those games. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Coming up, Camden won't have much time to rest: their next match is against A.C. Flora at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A.C. Flora will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Camden surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lancaster, they will be playing at home against York at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
