Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Haylee Garthwait stepped things up a notch to give Monterey the 'W'. Garthwait scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Garthwait's strong effort led Monterey over Jackson County and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
