Bracken County owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They claimed a resounding 28-0 win over the Owen County Rebels. The result was nothing new for the Polar Bears, who have now won four matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Ryland Tucker threw for 42 yards and one TD. On the ground, Lucas McKinney rushed for 144 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

Bracken County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Owen County, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
