Ferndale is a perfect 7-0 against Lynden Christian since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Ferndale will face off against Lynden Christian at 4:30 p.m. Ferndale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, Ferndale was able to grind out a solid victory over Oak Harbor, taking the game 8-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

Fenton Vasak made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Braylon O'Breen was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Brayden Ebbesen was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Ferndale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, on Thursday Lynden Christian's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against Squalicum.

Lynden Christian pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ferndale, their record now sits at 4-2.

Everything went Ferndale's way against Lynden Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Ferndale made off with an 11-0 victory. Does Ferndale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lynden Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
