Victor Valley scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 10-5 to the Apple Valley Sun Devils. The Jackrabbits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sun Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Rafael Cabrera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That hit marked the first that he got this season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Yepez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Victor Valley and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Apple Valley, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
