Softball Recap: Saks Takes a Loss

Saks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weaver Bearcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 18-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Saks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Weaver, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Saks Wildcats challenge Randolph County Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on March 20th. As for Weaver, they will challenge Cleburne County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
