Basketball Game Preview: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Seneca Bobcats

The Walhalla Razorbacks and the Seneca Bobcats will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Seneca took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Walhalla, who comes in off a win.

Walhalla is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 76-67 win over Chapman on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Seneca unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against Westside, falling 76-54. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Rams are ranked seventh).

Seneca's loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3. As for Walhalla, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Things could have been worse for Walhalla, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-54 loss to Seneca in their previous meeting last Monday. Can Walhalla avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
