Volleyball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Mt. Pleasant duked it out with Columbia Central on Friday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-6.

Columbia Central found their leader in sophomore Allie Hill, who had six aces, three digs, and one block. Hill has been hot for a while, having also posted 17 or more assists the last 23 times she's played.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Columbia Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Mt. Pleasant has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lewis County on the 23rd. As for Columbia Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Battle Creek on the 23rd.
