Basketball Recap: Big Spring Piles Up the Points Against Lake View

There's no place like home for Big Spring, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by the Lake View Chiefs to the tune of 72-28 on Friday. That 44 point margin sets a new team best for the Steers this season.

Big Spring's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-12. As for Lake View, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.

Big Spring will square off against Levelland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake View, they will take on Snyder at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
