Game recap: Springstead High School Football Team defeats Nature Coast Tech

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, Fla.) was defeated by Springstead (Spring Hill, Fla.), 24-7.

After taking the lead on a field goal by Brian Rae in the second quarter, the Eagles led 10-7 at the half.

Springstead expanded its lead to 10 points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Tyler Mahla.

Nature Coast Tech's lone touchdown came on a 2-yard run by DeShawn Smith in the first quarter.

The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Sharks took, 34-3.
