Edwards County waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 43-33 win over the Carmi-White County Bulldogs. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 320th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Edwards County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Carmi-White County, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
