Tazewell had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Richlands on Thursday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Blue Tornado with a sharp 4-1 victory. Tazewell might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Justin Thomas and Logan McDonald scored all four of Tazewell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 30 goals.

The win was the third in a row for Tazewell, bringing their record up to 8-2-1. As for Richlands, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
