Baseball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett lost against Stanwood back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Seagulls came up short against the Spartans, falling 9-1. The Seagulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andreas Gutierrez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Stanwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Stanwood will face off against Mountlake Terrace at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Everett will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' game: after the Spartans faces off against the Hawks, they'll take on Everett again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
