Soccer Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Juan Diego Catholic had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Granger Lancers on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. Brylee Newport was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Looking ahead, Juan Diego Catholic will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Union at 4:00 p.m. As for Granger, they will head out on the road to square off against Salt Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
