Baseball Recap: Caliche Comes Up Short

The Caliche Buffaloes came up short against the Flatirons Academy Bison on Saturday, falling 17-7. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kipton Rockwell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Caleb Kloberdanz, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Caliche's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Flatirons Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Coincidentally, Caliche and Flatirons Academy will both be playing Wiley the next time they take the field. The Buffaloes will head out to face the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bison will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
