Volleyball Recap: McAlester Comes Up Short

McAlester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wagoner Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

McAlester's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Wagoner, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

McAlester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Collinsville on the 6th. As for Wagoner, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Locust Grove on the 6th.
