Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors vs. Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes

The Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors will take on the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Southeastern Christian Academy and four for Cape Fear Academy.

Last Saturday, Southeastern Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind North Myrtle Beach and lost 54-36. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Southeastern Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Uzziah Marlowe, who posted 16 points, and James Hobbs, who earned 11 points. Hobbs is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Meanwhile, Cape Fear Academy suffered their biggest loss since February 17th on Monday. They came up short against Pine Lake Prep, falling 73-52. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Pride are ranked 58th).

Southeastern Christian Academy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Cape Fear Academy, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
