They walked away with a 72-60 victory over the Salpointe Catholic Lancers. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 56-53 win the Lancers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Mesquite's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Donovan Richard led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.
