Soccer Recap: Berea-Midpark Victorious

While Berea-Midpark's win against Elyria Catholic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1 on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Berea-Midpark were the better team in the second half.

Jack Krzys and Gavin Vozar scored both of Berea-Midpark's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Berea-Midpark now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Elyria Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea-Midpark will head out to face off against Valley Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elyria Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Vermilion at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
