Soccer Recap: Rampart Takes Down Golden in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Rampart rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Golden Demons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Rampart, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

Brooklynn Pollmiller and Rilee Ramey scored all three of Rampart's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Rampart has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up five goals over those 12 matchups. As for Golden, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-5-1 record.

Rampart has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Green Mountain on the 13th. Golden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
