Roosevelt has no trouble against Friona

Recap: Roosevelt Eagles vs. Friona Chieftans
With a playoff game on the line, the Roosevelt Eagles rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past Friona 35-14. Considering Roosevelt has won five matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Nate Casarez was on fire: he rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Casarez really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
The win makes it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Friona, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Roosevelt will square off against Crane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crane knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matches -- so hopefully Roosevelt likes a good challenge. Friona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
