Lake Country Lutheran skates past Messmer with ease

The Lake Country Lutheran Lightning scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Messmer 112-78 at home. Lake Country Lutheran has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 34 points or more this season.

Sam Hans continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hans, who scored 16 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Lake Country Lutheran, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.67 points. As for Messmer, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Country Lutheran the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Luther Prep at 7:15 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (Luther Prep is ranked 119th, while Lake Country Lutheran is ranked 142nd). As for Messmer, they will be playing at home against Brookfield Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
