Monticello is 8-1-1 against Fluvanna County since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch against the Flying Flucos at 7:00 p.m. Monticello's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Monticello's offense. They came up short against Orange County on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Fluvanna County also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Goochland on Thursday. Fluvanna County haven't had much luck with Goochland recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fluvanna County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Monticello, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
