Volleyball Recap: Commack Find Success

Commack's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Newfield Wolverines 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Commack was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-10, 23-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Commack's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Newfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
