Baseball Recap: Plano Takes a Loss

Plano lost against McKinney Boyd last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell 5-1 to the Broncos. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plano's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for McKinney Boyd, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Plano will challenge rival Plano East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McKinney Boyd is set to take on their familiar foe McKinney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Broncos their first taste of in-conference action this season.
